Piston valve – KLINGER KVN

KLINGER – a leading global manufacturer of piston gate valves (KVN). Thanks to continuous technical improvements and many years of experience in industrial equipment, KLINGER offers a wide range of valves.

The piston gate valve was invented and patented by engineer R. Klinger in 1922. The stainless steel piston and two elastic rings form the sealing valve system. When the valve closes, the piston cleans the lower ring and ensures constant and maximum tightness. The valve rings of the KX-module are produced from specially processed pure graphite, laminated with a metal insert, without asbestos impurities. The valve is easy to maintain with options to limit vibrations and pulsations of the pipeline. Main functions: stopping or regulating – depending on the diameter and the regulating characteristic
