Advantages:
Kammprofile gasket have a distinctive construction that includes a soft sealing strip and a metal core with a serrated surface for increased stability. This construction makes them extremely suitable for high pressure and large diameter applications for sealing heat exchangers and others.
Construction:
The main element of the seal is metal strips. A graphite foil with a thickness of 0.5 mm is applied to them, and for greater stability the metal part is pre-turned. It is also possible to add outer rings to contribute to stability.
Standard thicknesses:
3.2 мм, 4.5 мм и 7.2 мм

Soft tape materials:
Graphite (up to 550˚C),
Teflon PTFE (up to 260˚C),
